Closeness has always hurt. We are in the same process with some of our kids. It presents many faces..this RAD. The battle is worth it. We can't give up with God on our side. He is loving through us...Praise Him for His Grace & guideance. When I just don't know what to do next... when it feels like we're hanging on a thin thread...He gives me direction & Love beyond me & the long range view.
Sharilittle thingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06200341750306367403noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2920527740912786210.post-73332026370978963782012-05-31T23:09:38.314-04:002012-05-31T23:09:38.314-04:00I am thrilled by your story's end. There was talk of having her repeat 1st grade but they decided not to. I was a little sad. She is in no way a second grader except that she's already 8 years old. Her first grade teacher is unbelievably sweet, and an awesome teacher and Missy LOVES her, but what you said turned on a light in my head and I suddenly see that for her to have a different teacher this coming year is not just for the best, but imperative.

We've been struggling big time with RAD behaviors. I have to keep that child away from people who think she's just a doll and sweet and charming.acceptance with joyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08719959847208171653noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2920527740912786210.post-82771770972099088102012-05-03T22:40:17.379-04:002012-05-03T22:40:17.379-04:00"Never give up on hope."
